Loeka
Loeka is not just another clothing manufacturer, they are riders who believe in the philosophy that riding your bike is a great way to socialize, get some great exercise and clear your head. They created Loeka not only to design great clothing for women but also to help build a strong community of female riders from beginners to professionals by encouraging more and more females to try/take up cycling. Not just for health reasons but for the camaraderie, the friendship, the lifetime of great stories, the excitement and the community of riders, female and male, that reside around the world who already reap the rewards that biking brings to each one of those individuals.

Fundacion Santa Ana de los Rios de Cuenca

Santa Ana de los Rios is a nonprofit foundation that focuses on meeting the needs of the elderly population in Cuenca.  It is a small community organization that assists around 20 elderly adults by providing services for basic needs that would otherwise go unmet, such as housing, food, clothing, medical attention, and physical and recreational therapy.

El Arca
El Arca is a community organization that focuses on one of the main animal issues in Ecuador, the sterilization of dogs and cats to reduce the number of homeless animals throughout Ecuador.  They also assist in educating locals regarding proper animal care, as well as all around support for animal rights and welfare.

Casa de Acogida Maria Amor
The Casa de Acogida Maria Amor offers assistance to women who are victims of interfamilial violence. They work directly with the local police force to aid women who are in compromising situations and ensure their safety. The center also offers temporary housing, food, and a kitchen where all of the women seeking refuge work together.

Hogar de La Madre y del Nino
Run by the Communidad de Misioneras Cordentoras this non-profit offers social assistance, provides treatments, follow-ups, group therapy, direct support, and many other needed services to children and adolescents who have been violated, sexually abused, or exposed to family violence.  The goal of the organization is to reduce domestic violence and to give skills to mothers and their children so they can return and reinsert themselves in to family and social situations.

Granja Gualaceo
Run by the Communidad de Misioneras Cordentoras this is a non-profit organization works to provide community and social assistance by through community farming projects. 

Centro de Cuidado Diario Perpetuo Socorro
Run by the Communidad de Misioneras Cordentoras this is a non-profit organization provides care and attention of children from 6 months through 5 years of age.  Their focus is on health, alimentation, education, and providing the children with an overall higher quality of life. 

Cooperativa de Vivienda Jose Fidel Hidalgo
Run by the Communidad de Misioneras Cordentoras this non-profit organization aids single mothers by helping them meet their housing needs.  They are currently looking to construct community housing for 42 families of single mothers, creating a self-sustaining community.

Jardin de Infantes Jose Fidel Hidalgo
Run by the Communidad de Misioneras Cordentoras this non-profit organization focuses on the initial education and care of children, specifically focusing on children who come from low socio-economic families, single mothers, or immigrant families.  Offered services include family group therapy, diagnostic tests, evaluations and work with children as well as evaluating and treating children in need. 

Bambu Travel
Bambu Travel is an Ecuadorian travel agency who specializes in Galapagos travel and ecotourism.  They coordinate the majority of the travel included in our immersion program packages and offer additional group tours which can be purchased separately.

Cikla
Cikla is located in both Cuenca and Quito. They are distributors of Specialized bicycle components, Camelbak products, Buff, Allen Sports products, V.I.O. products, and many additional brands of outdoor gear, including Ecuadorian made Tattoo mountaineering products. Cikla offers a 10% discount on all product lines and classes in Cuenca!  Just bring your El Nomad student card and get ready to ride the trails in the hills that surround Cuenca, or to sight see in the city by bike.

Amaru
Zoo Amaru is a unique zoo that specializes in the development of educational and scientific investigation programs with a focus on fish, amphibians, and reptiles of Ecuador.

Cachumbambe
A Cuenca based Salsa dance school that offers classes for beginners and experienced dancers alike. They offer classes in Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Samba, Tango, Cha cha cha, Mambo, Vals, Paso Doble, and more! Cachumbambe offers a 10% discount on all dance classes to El Nomad students!  Classes can be coordinated through the El Nomad office.

World Nomads
Through World Nomads, El Nomad offers international travel and health insurance. They also offer free SMS travel safety alerts, iPod language guides, your own online travel journal and destination guides.

uBRDO
A great independent shop in Kirkland, WA (USA) whose goal is to get you off the couch and outdoors! Although their immediate focus is on cycling they carry a variety of outdoor equipment and active urban gear.

Manolo Guartatang
Manolo is a photojournalist for the Illustrious Municipality of Cuenca, Ecuador. He dedicates himself completely to taking photographs of the most diverse places in this patrimonial city. His main objective is to show the world the unique beauty of this Ecuadorian city.

Keith Bolling Photography
Keith is a photographer who has been all over the world. He has recently been to Ecuador, Thailand, Nepal, Peru, Egypt and India. Although he loves photographing just about anything, his emphasis is in portraits of native people.
